after a series of failed auditions at a variety of companies, she finally was accepted into soleil entertainment in 2013 and trained for five years, as cerise debuted in august of 2018.
she always credits girls generation as her #1 inspiration for becoming an idol and she's a huge taeyeon stan.
she was born in busan but her family moved to the united states when she was four years old- only to move back to busan when she was fourteen. it was financial hardships that led to them coming back to korea.
she used to avidly speak about being a vegetarian and all hell broke loose when she was caught eating a ham sandwich at inkigayo in 2020 which inevitably into the press and she received a lot of criticism; a lot of her hate comes from being a "LIAR" and a "FAKE."
